In a thirty-year emergency room career, I’ve cared for countless patients in crises, and, of course, have lots of stories to tell about my ER experience. In my years in the ER I learned that elevated blood glucose and obesity are the biggest killers of a healthy future. Now, using CGMS, I help my patients in my private metabolic health clinic reverse the conditions that threaten their future.

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and completed medical school and residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where I served as chief resident. I am a founding member of the Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners. I am certified by both the American Board of Preventive Medicine and the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
